For the November Swap – a couple of things…

Hi, All –
First, just the standard reminder to please submit your recipe to the blog by this Friday evening in order to give Marci time to create the recipe pdf. Thanks for your help in making that a smooth process!

We’ll be meeting this coming Monday, November 9th, at 8 pm at my house for the next swap. Holly is sitting this month out, so please prep 11 and bring 10 to the swap.

I heard from Alisha tonight about an situation where the gift of meals would be really helpful, so we’re going to add this in last-minute for anyone who hasn’t already made their meals and would like to contribute. Alisha’s husband Tim has a coworker named Andrea. Andrea and her husband Jeff’s baby daughter, Anya, had surgery when she was 6 months old to remove a cyst. 6 months have passed since then and they are discovering that she is having developmental issues and are therefore going through 5 or more tests a week to figure out what the issue is While Anya just turned 1, she is the size of a 7 month old, so a feeding tube has been suggested as a potential solution. Their family is putting all of their time into getting their baby girl better, which is leaving them little time for other things, like making meals. If this works for you this month, Alisha will be taking any gifted meals to them. You would want to prep 12 and bring 11 to the swap. If you’ve already made your meals but still would like to participate, you could also send along a meal that is still in your freezer from another month.

I hope you all are well and have been enjoying these unexpectedly amazing weather days! See you next Monday!
