Another Meal Swap Opportunity

Hello, everyone!

What an unusual season of life we’re navigating these days!  I hope this finds you healthy and hanging in okay!

I’m forwarding a message from Samantha, with another meal swap opportunity.  All the pertinent information should be there, and feel free to check in directly with her for more details. They currently have 8 people swapping and would like to add 2 more. Their next swap will be on Friday, June 12. No dietary restrictions!

Hello, I hope you are all doing great. I wanted to reach out because I started a new swap when this one ended. We are looking for two more people to join our swap. Please let me know if you are interested. We swap at 6:30pm on the 2nd Friday of each month. My email is gillen.sam@gmail.com and my phone number is +16124037863. – Samantha

Take care, everyone!

Meal Swap: Winter Edition is almost here!

Hi, All!

I feel almost incredulous that nearly 3 months has passed since our last meal swap!  Next Monday night at 8 pm is the Winter Edition meal swap, where we can re-stock our freezers with some cozy meals to help get us through these long days of winter!  There are 10 families participating, so please plan to prep 10 entrees and bring 9 to the swap.  At this point we don’t have plans for a spring/early summer swap… we can chat more about that when we’re together on Monday night, but the swap should be a little shorter in length on Monday since we won’t have recipes to present.

Looking forward to seeing many of you on Monday evening, and happy meal prepping!

Heather

We will count on your participation for these recipes! There is a big time gap inbetween now and February, so we’ll ask you to follow through with the commitment to prepare these dishes. If you know of anyone who wants to join in, please let Heather know no later than mid-January so the group can prepare the right number of meals.

Have a great holiday season and we’ll see you in February!!!

Quick update!

Hi!  Just a quick update to note that we will have 10 families participating in the November swap, so please prep 10 entrees and bring 9 to the swap!  Recipes for the blog will be needed by next Friday, November 8th. We hope to have a good crew participating in February’s Meal Swap: Winter Edition – please plan to bring 2 or 3 of your favorite recipes to the November swap to present to the group for the February swap.

Thanks, and happy weekend!

For all swappers, past and present, thank you for all of the delicious meals you have prepared!! We are grateful for your time, energy and generosity in sharing your lives and recipes – favorites and new – with all of us!

Recipes Needed Today!

Happy Chilly Friday! I’m sorry this reminder comes so late, but all of a sudden it’s already Friday and recipes are needed for the blog by this evening!  There are 9 families swapping this month, so prep 9 and bring 8 along to Monday night’s swap.

Monday night is also my oldest daughter’s first high school choir concert, so I may be cutting it close in getting home much before 8 pm.  I’ll leave the front door unlocked, so even if I’m not quite back when you arrive, please feel free to let yourself in and get settled!

As we talked about at the last swap, November will be our last regular meeting, but we’re moving ahead with plans for a February Meal Swap Winter Edition!  Definitely feeling bittersweet about this, but mostly thankful for the ways the meal swap has been helpful and stress-easing over the past years!

Looking forward to seeing many of you next Monday at 8 pm!
